Owner Adam Puhl has been landscaping since 1993. He started PLD upon graduating from Logan High School in 2002 and continued the business while attending The Ohio State University. At Ohio State, he earned a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Horticulture and a minor in Agricultural Business. He was the student president of the OSU chapter of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America and completed his internship with The Brickman Group, Ltd. In addition to his degree, Adam has qualified as a nursery, garden center, and landscape technician through the ONLA which has earned him the status of Master Technician. He has given lectures on water features and currently assists in the landscape training program at Hocking College. He is also recognized by the Ohio Department of Agriculture as a commercial pesticide applicator, the National Concrete Masonry Association as a Certified Segmental Retaining Wall Installer, and the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute as a Level I Certified Installer.

Travis has been working in the landscape industry for 10 years and joined the PLD team in 2009. Prior to employment with PLD, Travis was an irrigation technician with the Brickman Group, Ltd., and a golf course superintendent at a top 100 ranked golf course. Travis has been an irrigation technician for 8 years and has an extensive background in turf grass. Travis earned his Associates Degree in Turf Grass Management from The Ohio State University and is recognized by the Ohio Department of Agriculture as a commercial pesticide applicator.
